Patient Participation Group
Join our PPG today!
The practice formed a Patient Participation Group (PPG) in July 2011. The PPG is a group of people who are patients of the surgery and want to help it work as well as it can for patients, doctors and staff. The NHS requires every practice to have a PPG as this gives patients the opportunity to have their say in the way that local health services are delivered and to help suggest important changes to benefit their practice.
PPG members work by building a relationship between the practice and patients that break down barriers in communication and promotes the sharing of information. Patient surveys tell us about the care patients are receiving and other aspects of how we are performing which help us to provide an accessible and responsive service. The practice worked jointly with the PPG to agree on issues that were a priority and to include these in the survey.
The PPG meet at the surgery only a few times a year so we hope that patients will be encouraged to join and have their say. We understand that many patients are unable to attend meetings due to other commitments but may want to have a say in what we do and so we can contact members by post or email if required.
Please find below copies of previous PPG meeting minutes:
The next PPG meeting will be held on: 14.03.2025
