We will be closed on the following dates over the Christmas / New Year period:
- Christmas Day – Thursday 25th December 2025
- Boxing Day – Friday 26th December 2025
- New Year’s Day – Thursday 1st January 2026
When We’re Closed – How to Get Help
1) NHS 111 (Urgent but not life‑threatening)
- Call 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk for advice, urgent care assessment, and guidance to the right local service, including GP out‑of‑hours, urgent treatment centres, dental care, and pharmacies.
- Available 24/7, including bank holidays.
2) 999 (Emergencies only)
- For life‑threatening emergencies (e.g., chest pain, severe breathlessness, stroke symptoms, heavy bleeding, unconsciousness), call 999 or go to A&E immediately.
- British Sign Language (BSL) speakers can make a video call to 999.
- Patients who are hard of hearing can use 18000 to contact 999 using text relay.
3) Community Pharmacies (Self‑care, minor illnesses & medicines advice)
Local pharmacies can help with coughs, colds, sore throats, tummy upsets, rashes, hay fever, minor eye/ear infections, and more. Many are open on bank holidays. Below are nearby options with planned holiday hours. Always check before you travel as times can change; you can search at www.nhs.uk/service-search/find-a-pharmacy or call NHS 111.

Or alternatively please request via the Blinx – please note Blinx will be closed on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th and will be reopen for requests on Monday 29th December at 8am.
